Lichen infested terracotta roof restoration

This terracotta roof was in a bad way, heavily infested with lichen growth, blocked (tile) spillways, cracked pointing on the ridges and valley, and lots of broken tiles.

Owners, Alan & Angela were keen to stop the leaks and, because the tiles were a very dark brown, also asked us to install some Whirlybirds to take some pressure off the aircon during the hot summer months.

Photos below show before, during and after the work was completed.
