This small shopping complex at Acacia Ridge had a rusty old iron roof badly in need of attention, as the first photo testifies.
Our process involved treatment with a rust converter, pressure cleaning, carrying out repairs, which, among other things, involved using a high quality, fibreglass impregnated
water-proofing sealer, application of an etch primer followed by an aluminium enamel topcoat.
One shop in particular suffered persistent water ingress which this treatment has now resolved.
The aluminium topcoat is renowned for drifting with only the slightest suggestion of a breeze, so an early start was called for with two painters operating off the one large airless sprayer (refer to photo) to finish the job quickly before shoppers arrived.
It made such a difference and the owner can relax for at least another decade.
